Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 2, 2026
Our Privacy Philosophy
Florida Learning Hub believes educational resources should be accessible without requiring visitors to surrender unnecessary personal information.
The Website has intentionally been designed to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible, while still allowing us to understand how visitors use our educational resources through privacy-focused analytics. We believe a student researching Florida's pioneer history, a parent looking for a classroom resource, or an educator planning a lesson should be able to do so without being tracked, profiled, or asked to hand over information we don't need.
Our Commitment
Florida Learning Hub is committed to:
- Collecting as little personal information as reasonably possible.
- Being transparent about the information we do collect.
- Never selling visitor information.
- Using analytics only to improve our educational resources and Website performance.
- Respecting the privacy of educators, parents, students, researchers, and lifelong learners.
Overview
Florida Learning Hub ("FLH," "we," "our," or "us") is a publishing imprint of L&W Elite Services LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information, if any, is collected when you visit floridalearninghub.org (the "Website"), and how that information is used.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.
The Website Does Not Collect Personal Information Directly From You
Florida Learning Hub was intentionally designed to collect significantly less personal information than many modern websites. The Website does not offer:
- User accounts or registration
- Comments or discussion forums
- Contact forms or newsletter sign-ups
- File uploads
- Any other feature through which a visitor is asked to submit personal information
Because these features do not exist on the Website, we do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or other personal information directly from visitors, including children.
Website Analytics
Like most websites, Florida Learning Hub uses website analytics to understand how the Website is used and to improve the quality and organization of our educational content. Florida Learning Hub currently uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, or another substantially similar privacy-focused analytics service, designed to measure traffic without relying on invasive tracking techniques.
These analytics tools may collect limited, aggregate technical information, such as:
- The approximate number of visitors to a page
- General geographic region (such as country or state) inferred from IP address
- Device and browser type
- Referring website or search engine
- Pages visited and time spent on the Website
This information is collected and reported in aggregate form. It is used to understand which content is helpful to visitors and where our educational materials can be improved. It is not used to build individual visitor profiles, and we do not sell this information to third parties.
Server Logs
As with virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically logs certain technical information for security, troubleshooting, and performance purposes, such as IP address, browser type, access times, and pages requested. These logs are maintained by our hosting infrastructure in the ordinary course of operating the Website and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Website may use a limited number of cookies or similar technologies where applicable, primarily in connection with the analytics described above. These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Most web browsers allow you to control or disable cookies through their settings; disabling cookies should not affect your ability to read content on the Website, though it may limit certain analytics functionality on our end.
Do Not Track
Because Florida Learning Hub does not engage in behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking, the Website does not currently respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" requests.
Children's Privacy
The Website is intended for use by parents, educators, and students, including middle-school-aged users, as a read-only educational resource. Because the Website has no accounts, comments, forms, or other means for a visitor to submit personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA").
Educators or parents who direct students to use the Website are responsible for ensuring that such use complies with applicable school, district, or household policies.
Third-Party Marketplaces
Books, digital downloads, and other Florida Learning Hub or Lucky M Brand products may be sold through third-party platforms, including, but not limited to, Amazon KDP (or other print-on-demand publishers), Teachers Pay Teachers, Etsy, and other authorized retail or educational marketplaces (each, a "Marketplace"). If you make a purchase through a Marketplace, any personal information you provide — such as your name, shipping address, or payment information — is collected and handled by that Marketplace under its own privacy policy, not by Florida Learning Hub. We do not receive or store your payment information, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any Marketplace before making a purchase.
External Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites for reference or educational purposes. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
Data Security
While no website can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable measures appropriate to a static, read-only educational publishing website to protect the limited technical information described above.
Relationship to Our Terms & Conditions
Nothing in this Privacy Policy alters or limits the intellectual property protections or other legal provisions contained in our Terms & Conditions. This Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions work together as the governing documents for the Website.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" above reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
Legal Notices
Florida Learning Hub does not maintain a public Contact page and does not publish a business mailing address on this Website. Questions or legal notices regarding this Privacy Policy should be directed in writing to L&W Elite Services LLC through its registered agent of record, as listed with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations (sunbiz.org).
